Task Force Dagger Foundation

The Task Force Dagger Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity that supports the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Established July 2009, Task Force Dagger Foundation works hard to fill the gaps in coverage that exist and serve where needed.

The mission of Task Force Dagger Foundation is to provide assistance to wounded, ill, or injured US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) members and their families. The Foundation responds to urgent needs, conducts Rehabilitative Therapy Events (RTE), and provides next-generation health solutions for issues facing our special operations service members.

Task Force Dagger Foundation is the only Special Operations Forces (SOF) specific charity that provides rapid response immediate needs support to all branches (Army/Navy/Air Force/Marine) active and veteran SOF Operators and Enablers (support personnel) Wounded, Ill, Injured, or not and their family members. Task Force Dagger Foundation has the least restrictive charter in supporting the US Special Operations Command.

Task Force Dagger Foundation provides programs and services in three areas: Immediate Needs, Health Initiatives, and Rehabilitative Therapy Events.

  • § Immediate Needs: when called upon, Task Force Dagger Foundation assists Special Operations personnel and their families with needs that are not covered by the Military, DoD, VA, or their insurance. Our average response time from request to support is ~two hours.
  • § Health Initiatives: Task Force Dagger Foundation assists SOF personnel and their families with care and treatment that is designed to treat the problem and not the symptom. We look at treating the whole body and how to heal the person versus treatment where providing prescription medication as the answer. We are working with various organizations on ways to treat Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) in order to reduce the number of veteran suicides as well as reduce environmental exposures that over time will affect the Service Member’s quality of life and health.
  • § Rehabilitative Therapy Events: Task Force Dagger Foundation sponsors activities that foster a sense of well-being, offer encouragement, and assist the service member’s rehabilitation and recovery from wounds/injuries sustained while serving our country.

One of our core beliefs is that if the service member is injured, the whole family is injured and must heal together. Teamwork is more than being on a team, it is being part of a family that is stronger together. As such, when we conduct a rehabilitative therapy event, we bring the whole family and include the whole family in the activities.
The Task Force Dagger Foundation is very judicious in how our funds are spent. We work hard to ensure that every penny goes to support our special operations families. Our overhead rate is 14.68 and as we grow, one fact that our donors can trust: we will run lean and send every cent possible to our service members and family members in need.
